Cost-Plus Pricing: We offer cost-plus pricing–also known as time and materials pricing–rather than fixed pricing, in order to reduce our costs and save you money on your custom home. This is a win-win for us and for you! You save money in cost-plus pricing because you won’t pay for anything that is not related to your custom home project and there will not be any hidden fees or unknowns that expand the project budget. Our risk is lower because the payment you make covers the base materials and labor costs, as well as our overhead and agreed-upon profit percentage.
Cost-plus is an open book experience where you have access to every piece of information related to your custom home. With our cost-plus pricing, you will see every invoice, projection, and cost that is used to build your custom home. Our transparency allows us to offer you our construction services without hidden fees or markup costs.
Size Matters: Believe it or not, the type of custom home you choose could actually save you money. Using Construction Science, Yoder Construction knows exactly how to navigate the variables that often come into play in the home building process. For instance, a two-story house with the same square footage as a ranch will save you nearly 10% because the main structural elements like foundation, framing, roofing, and insulation can be used to cover twice the square footage!
